After staying in hundreds of hotels within Cyprus it was time to visit Kapetanios Aqua Resort which we did in March 2025. We were greeted warmly by all the Reception staff including the porters, Hospitality staff, Restaurant staff and Hotel Management staff. A very sincere and warm introduction to our holiday at Kapetanios. We had booked this Hotel as it was available for the dates we needed but also because it had facilities for young children which we needed. Instantly upon arriving we were delighted to discover a very clean and safe Kids outside play area as well as an Aqua Park and an interior Kid's club. Close by, accessible to all guests, is also a secondary Kid's play area provided by the local municipality, Peyia, which was adjacent to an outside Basketball & Tennis court all of which were minutes away from the hotel grounds. The Hotel itself, within it's grounds, has 2 Outdoor Pools, Indoor Pools, Spa/Massage and Gym facilities. There is also a small supermarket/Gift shop and the Hotel provides regular entertainment. The Restaurant which is the location for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is professionally managed by Kyriakos and his Catering team and Waiter/Waitress team who constantly run to meet your every need. The food was fresh, varied and consistent. We experienced the Breakfast, the Lunch and The Dinner, all meals were served quickly to the best of their ability. Plenty of choices when buffet options applied such as the Breakfast. What was most important for us was how happy our little boy was, Finley. Finley loved Kapetanios from beginning to end, he loved the atmosphere, the friendliness, the facilities and all the staff, especially one of Nepalese waitresses called Roxanna. If you have children and their holiday is just as important as yours then I thoroughly recommend that you book Kapetanios. You will not regret the Privacy, Cleanliness, professionalism and the Happiness of your children. I did read previous 2024 reviews for this hotel prior to booking and to be honest they were unjust, prejudiced and unfair. Every hotel during full season experiences problems of one or another but as a guest we must always remember to try and form opinions based on the whole experience not just one negative and then exaggerate the negative. As a whole, we were very well looked after, respected and appreciated. We would have no hesitancy in booking this Hotel again and again and again for ourselves. Top Marks to everyone, including the Family that own the Hotel whom we met and we had many pleasant conversations with. The Family owning this and other Kapetanios Hotels; Protaras and Limassol, believe in reinvestment, customer satisfaction and enjoyable holidays and this is what is most important in 2025. Whilst many other Paphos Hotels we have used slowly decline and fail to reinvest Kapetanios looked immaculate when we walked through the entrance.
